Phil Manginelli

Pastor Phil Manginelli was born and raised in Idaho Falls, Idaho. After graduating from high school he moved to Southern California to pursue his BA in pastoral ministry from LIFE Pacific College. After a small time in college, Phil left to do international missions.

Phil did missions work in Southeast Asia with YWAM. It was here that he met his beautiful wife, Emily who he has been married to since 2003. Once his time in Thailand was done, he decided he wanted to study longer so he committed the next year to the School of Biblical Studies in Lakeside, Montana. After this school he returned to LIFE Pacific College and graduated with his degree in Biblical Studies.

Once Phil and Emily finished with YWAM and LIFE Pacific College, they moved Seattle to take a position as Student Ministries Director for almost seven years. Phil oversaw Junior-High, High-School, and College Ministry as well as a yearlong school of discipleship called The Internship. He has been a sought after guest speaker and teacher at many different venues.

Recently Phil and his family moved to Atlanta to plant a church. He and a team of people relocated several months to bring the Gospel to Atlanta. They have founded a brand new church plant called The Square.

Pastor Phil and Emily have two beautiful boys, Jacob and Rohan. He loves all sports, but soccer (Sounders) and baseball (Dodgers) are his passion. His favorite scripture is out of 2 Corinthians 5:21 – “He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
